Description
Framed oval portrait of 2866 Private (Pte) Percival George Chandler, 32nd Battalion. A commercial traveller prior to enlisting on 8 November 1915, he embarked from Adelaide aboard HMAT Aeneas (A60) on 11 April 1916. Pte Chandler was killed in action at Beaulencourt on 6 March 1917 and buried in the Bancourt British Cemetery, Picardie, France. He was 29 years old.
