Siem Reap, Cambodia, 1993-06-05. A group of Australian and New Zealand soldiers serving with the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) carrying out a weapon assembly drill at the local UNTAC Headquarters. They are left to right: Sergeant Derek Webster; Gunner Carl Rob; Leading Aircraftman (Tiny) Saunders; Leading Aircraftwoman Mich Stevens; Corporal Dale Witere, Royal New Zealand Signals; and Bombardier Greg Belmont. The New Zealand soldier at the rear is unknown. The weapons they are assembling are 5.56mm calibre Steyr AUG rifles fitted with telescopic sights. (Original 35mm positive housed in AWM Archive Store)
