Water bucket : Australian Light Horse
Description
Green coloured canvas water bucket with tarred rope handle. Handle is fixed to the bucket through brass eyelets by splicing. Marked on the inside with "AUSTRALIA / CGHF / 1917" a broad arrow. Also a broad arrow over "FP".
History / Summary
Water bucket carried by members of the Australian Light Horse to provide water for their horses as well as personal ablutions.
