Description
The American country singer Toby Keith is evacuated from stage mid-performance following a rocket attack on Kandahar Airfield. Keith was performing his song "Weed with Willie" to over 2,500 coalition troops when a mortar attack disrupted the show. He returned to stage an hour later once the all-clear was sounded (see AWM2019.311.8.123). This was Keith’s seventh tour with the United Service Organizations.
