OP Rattey. Redskin Ramp Dutch AH overfly to FARP. View though NVD.
Description
Operation Rattey. "Redskin" Ramp, Tarin Kot. Dutch AH-64 Apache overfly to Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP). Filmed through the Night Vision Device (NVD) of Captain Jason Otter, C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt). Captain Otter later noted: "this imagery captures the aircraft ‘Turning and Burning’ prior to departure. The imagery follows two of the supporting AH64 flying a low circuit to the south of the Tarin Kot Airfield as they position to arrive at the Forward Arming and Refuel Point. Their approach takes them directly past the extraction force CH47 and UH60 Blackhawks positioned at “Redskin" Ramp, Tarin Kot".
