Description
Kicking around an AFL footy at the Australia Day BBQ, 2007. Footage and commentary by Captain Jason Otter, C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt). Otter later recalled: "The grass patch was the central gathering spot for Camp Baker, having been established by the earlier TG 633.7 prior to becoming RWG in 2008. It was the only piece of green lawn in the whole of Kandahar and was meticulously cared for by the Squadron Sergeant Major (SSM). We would invite many International colleagues to our BBQ’s".
