Rocket attack impact site.
Description
Impact site from an insurgent 107mm rocket attack on Kandahar Airfield on 16 March 2007. Footage and commentary by Captain Jason Otter, C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt). Captain Otter later noted: "The rocket landed within Camp Baker shortly after the completion of a detachment briefing. Shrapnel damage to the sleeping accommodation can be seen. Many of the aircrew and support staff had left the compound for dinner only to return post the rocket attack siren and bunker action to find the impact site 10m from the location of the earlier briefing. Note to self - Don’t sleep in the outer accommodation blocks. Also featured is "The Good Major", Major Jason Duggan, 5 AVN Regt (OC C Sqn)".
