Description
Laayoune, Western Sahara. Personnel from the Swiss Medical Unit, a contingent provided to the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) lined up in the Units Compound. The demountable containers behind the personnel were utilised as surgeries and wards for any injured or ill personnel. In the background are two Moroccan Tropospheric Scatter Antennas which were not operative.
