Celle, Germany. C. 1945-06. Being close to Belsen Concentration Camp where disease was rampant, particularly typhus, special precautions were taken to protect all personnel in the area from contagion. Flying Officer van Grunderbeek (Belgian Medical Officer), is giving typhus inoculations to personnel who are due for their "boosters".
