London, England. 1945-12-04. During a lunch-hour service at the bomb-damaged church of St Dunstans-in-the-West, Fleet St, Air Vice Marshal H. N. Wrigley CBE DFC AFC, Air Officer Commanding, RAAF Overseas Headquarters, made a presentation of a facsimile of the Badge of the RAAF serving overseas to the Vicar, the Reverend Dr A. J. Macdonald. Members of the RAAF have held services of thanksgiving in this church on such occasions as VE (Victory in Europe) and VP (Victory in Pacific) day.
