Plymouth, England. C. 1940-12. Portrait of 2058 Flight Lieutenant J. B. Jewell, of Windsor, NSW, a navigator of No. 10 (Sunderland) Squadron RAAF taken at RAF Station, Mount Batten. He joined the squadron on 1939-11-11 and subsequently completed a number of outstanding operational flights for which he was awarded the DFC.
