Description

Wallet 1 of 1 – Letters relating to the First World War service of Major Ernest Alfred Knight Hudson DSO, Headquarters, ANZAC Mounted Division.

Wallet includes letters written by Hudson to his wife May Davison Hudson and his mother Amelia Hudson in Australia. The letters contain detailed accounts of his military activities, including the Battle of Romani and the surrender of El Arish.

Folder also contains a permission slip to visit the Holy Shrines at Jerusalem and Bethlehem signed by the military governor of Jerusalem.
