Autographs [Autograph book belonging to Mr. and Mrs. E. Cornish]
Description
This autograph book has a metal plate attached to the front engraved with the Rising Sun badge and "ANZAC Day 1918, Mr. and Mrs. E. Cornish". It is inscribed, "A small token of appreciation and esteem from those who spent a very pleasant afternoon at your home, Anzac Day 1918". Autographs are of members of the A.I.F. and the N.Z.E.F. and several sketches and poems are included. Mrs Cornish, of the Waterworks, Alexandria, Egypt, made available her home for AIF and New Zealand troops while on leave.
