Description
The other ranks of 3 Cavalry Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps, sitting down to Christmas lunch at a long table under the trees at Fire Support Base Julia, a forward base of the 1st Australian Task Force (ATF). The officers of the Regiment are serving the meal to the men, who are eating an entree of soup. The table is set with cans of beer, bottles of sauce and plates of bread rolls and biscuits. A Christmas tree has been set up at the far end of the table, while on each side stands one of the Regiment's armoured personnel carriers (APCs).
