Pembroke Dock, Wales. 1943-02. 403778 Pilot Officer K. M. Simpson (left) and 404610 Flight Lieutenant C. B. Walker, both of No. 461 Squadron RAAF based at an RAF Station, were navigator and captain respectively of a Sunderland which was involved in a forty-minute action over the Atlantic first against two German Junkers 88 aircraft and then against two German Focke-Wulf 190 aircraft, one of which was reported seriously damaged.
