Trinidad, British West Indies. C. 1942-08. 404920 Sergeant G. R. C. Johnson of Ingham, Qld (left), with an RAF Sergeant outside their barracks. Their Hudson aircraft of No. 53 Squadron RAF had flown from Rhode Island to Trinidad on operational anti-submarine sweeps and they continued their sorties from there, and later from a base in Dutch Guiana.
