Benghazi, Libya. 1941-03. A crater caused by the explosion of a mine dropped from a German aircraft. The men in the centre of the photograph include, Major G.G. Hayman (Senior Ordnance Mechanical Engineer), Major D. Macarthur-Onslow (Divisional Cavalry Regiment) and Lieutenant Colonel B.W. Pulver (Deputy Assistant Director Ordnance Services) all from 6th Division, AIF.
