Description
Informal group portrait of members of the Assault Pioneer Platoon, Support Company, the 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), as they are about to leave the 1st Australian Task Force (ATF) base to go out on Operation Santa Fe. The soldiers include Corporal Trent Grall (back row, extreme left) and Private (Pte) P. Z. Trzecinski (front row, extreme right). The soldiers are dressed in new light-weight jungle green uniforms that they are wearing for the first time on operations. Pte Trzecinski was killed in action on 27 January 1968.
