Lieutenant Colonel Albert Caro, Commanding Officer of 2/16th Battalion, 21st Australian Infantry Brigade, addressing his troops before a review of the Brigade by Major General A. S. (Tubby) Allen, CB CBE DSO VD, (Commanding 7th Australian Division) and Brigadier Arnold W. Potts, DSO MC. The is the first parade of the depleted 21st Australian Infantry Brigade since its return from the jungle. This series of photographs was taken by WX2725 Lieutenant E W Grigg, A Company, 2/16 Battalion, who is official photographer to that unit. Due to a holdup on the road Bottomley arrived too late.
