Wallet 1 of 1 - This collection contains an eight-page typescript letter from Edwards to his family reporting on the landing at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 and the first week of the campaign as viewed from the deck of HMAT Karroo. He shares detailed observations of the early morning landing at Gallipoli and the opening week of the campaign including descriptive accounts of naval bombardments, close-quarters combat, casualties and the actions of HMAT Karroo throughout this week-long period.
