Wallet 1 of 2 – This wallet contains half of the typescript memoir of Commander Basil Theodore Brewster written 1981. This half of the memoir describes his early life, including apprenticing on ships of the Abderdeen White Star Line, joining the Royal Navy in 1914 and service in the First World War (1914-1918), North Russia Intervention (1919), and Grego-Turkish War (1919-1920). Brewster ended his military service as a Lieutenant and was then placed on the Emergency List.
