Australia, 1926-1935. Riding on the water after returning from a flight, Supermarine Seagull III A9-8 of No. 101 Fleet Co-operation Flight RAAF is about to be hoisted aboard the seaplane carrier HMAS Albatross (not in view). One of the seaplane's three crewmen has clambered onto the top wing of the aircraft to grasp the hook attached to the cable of the ship's crane and hook it onto the aircraft, so that it can be hoisted aboard the vessel.
