Australia, 1926-1935. Supermarine Seagull III A9-3 of No. 101 Fleet Co-operation Flight RAAF being hoisted out of the water and aboard the seaplane carrier HMAS Albatross (not in view) by one of the ship's cranes. The amphibious aircraft has just returned from a flight. One of the seaplane's crewmen is riding on its top wing, after having attached the cable of the crane to the aircraft.
