Australia, 1926-1935. With its wings folded back, a Supermarine Seagull III seaplane of No. 101 Fleet Co-operation Flight RAAF is about to be lowered for safe storage into the hold of the seaplane carrier HMAS Albatross. The amphibious aircraft, recently returned from a flight, had been hoisted out of the water and aboard the ship by means of the ship's cranes. Several sailors and RAAF ground staff are assisting the operation.
