Canberra, ACT, 1945-04-23. Percival P31 Proctor Mk IV NP336 of No. 2 Aircraft Depot RAAF in flight over newly forested areas around Canberra. The Proctor was a four-seat communications aircraft. This, the RAAF's only Proctor, served with the Governor-General's communication flight from 1945-02-27 until 1947. The Governor-General's crest is painted on the side of the fuselage beneath the cockpit.
