Description
A Dutch trainee pilot (left) with 18 (NEI) Squadron, Netherlands Air Force, undergoing training in a Link Trainer, a flight simulator which has been set up in an office at the RAAF Station (later RAAF Base Fairbairn) where the squadron was based. Seated at the desk at right, another member of the squadron is running the training session. He has a map and various instruments to refer to on his desk and is communicating with the pilot by means of a microphone and headphones.
