Description
At sea, c. 1919-07. Group portrait of members of the 2nd Divisional Signals Company, 1st AIF, returning home to Australia aboard the "SS Mahia". Sitting in the second row are four officers, distinguished by wearing officer's hats rather than slouch hats. They are, left to right: Lieutenant (Lt) Jack Cedric Price, MC; Captain Frederick Usher J. Tinkler, OBE, MC; Lt Thomas Malcolm Price, MC; Lt Harry Stephen Blunt. The Lts Price were probably brothers who both, remarkably, won MCs.
