The guard of honour formed up as the bearer party carry a coffin at the funeral for 412853 Pilot Officer J. Smithers and 415789 Flight Sergeant R. H. Haskins of RAF No 57 Squadron Bomber Command, killed in action 16 August 1943. They were buried at Scampton. (Refer individual no. SUK11369AB, joint funeral, same image, not used.)
