Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX34 Major Henry Charles David Marshall, DSO, ED and bar, 2/7 Battalion, 1939-1945.

Wallet 5 of 5 – Wallet consists of a bound typed transcript of extracts from the fifteen booklets of memoirs that Major H.C.D. Marshall wrote during his imprisonment in Oflag IX A-H. The typescript comprises scanned copies of photographs of Greece, Crete and Spangenberg and of prisoners of war, maps of North Africa (particularly Bardia and Tobruk), Greece and Crete, as well as diagrams of the prisoner of war camps where Marshall was imprisoned.
