Description
London, England. 1943-10-07. 414959 Flight Sergeant (F Sgt) John McLean, RAAF, of Strathpine, Qld, visits Windsor Castle with Lester Powell, BBC commentator. They are seen beneath one of the stone lions outside St George's Chapel. Up these steps the coffins of the dead Kings of England are carried to their rest. A description of their visit was given by F Sgt McLean and Lester Powell in one of the BBC's fortnightly programmes in the Pacific Service entitled "Anzacs Look at London" in which Australians and New Zealanders take part alternately.
