Australia, 1935. Sketch map showing the routes taken by ships of His Majesty's Australian Squadron on its "Spring Cruise" around Australia and in the waters of New Caledonia, the New Hebrides, the Solomon Islands, New Britain and New Guinea. The map sets out the tracks taken by the RAN cruiser HMAS Canberra and the RN cruiser HMS Sussex. A separate section at right records, for each of the Canberra's ports of call, the ship's arrival and departure dates. (Original print held in AWM Archive Store)
