Collection relating to the Boxer Uprising service of HMCS Protector, South Australia, 4 August 1900.

Oversized Wallet 1 of 1 - Contains an embarkation roll and agreement signed by the captain and crew of HMCS Protector at Largs Bay in South Australia on 4 August 1900 for service at the Boxer Uprising. Addressed to the Premier and Chief Secretary of South Australia, John Greeley Jenkins, the agreement stipulates that the 106 signatories would serve Her Majesty the Queen for a period not exceeding one year according to the Articles of War and the Queen's Regulations in force for the Royal Navy.

The oversized wallet also contains five film negatives of the embarkation roll and agreement including a duplicate of the last page and a photocopy of the document. These items have not been digitised.
