Aboard HMAS Sydney in Australian waters - Engineer Commander Lionel Sydney Dalton DSO in the engine room. Dalton was killed in action when HMAS Sydney was sunk after the action with the German raider Kormoran in the Indian Ocean on 20 November 1941. (NEGATIVE BY L. HENDY).
