Toy soldiers
Description
This work is from the suite of 22 etchings 'One man's war, a woman's perspective'. Various soldiers are depicted throughout the work. Their stature is stiff, giving them the look of a 'toy soldier'. Two 'identity discs' made from printing plates are beneath the photo etching. The work comments on the enduring impact of the war experience on soldiers and their families.
