Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 1942-07-10. Group portrait of RAAF trainees of Class 42A, No. 2 Wireless School, who are training as wireless air gunners under the Empire Air Training Scheme. The group is assembled in front of the school's sign and a mock aircraft which is equipped with a gun turret for training purposes. At left, two servicemen are holding out the flags of Canada and Australia. The group includes: 2nd back row: Sergeant (Sgt) Holmes (6th from left); Sgt Bob Mann (7th from left); Sgt William Bernard ("Bill") Kaus (8th from left); ? Pilot Officer "Brick" Bradford (10th from left). 3rd row: Pilot Officer Fred Jarman (9th from left).
