At the graveside service for the funeral of 400322 Flying Officer Stanley Charles Hicks, RAAF (lost on operations in the United Kingdom (UK) on 6 January 1944. In the foreground are crosses for 413818 Sergeant R.G. Cotton RNZAF, 415024 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Ivan Aubrey Eliot RAAF and 412778 Flt Sgt John Frederick Bice Wearne RAAF. Flt Sgts Eliot and Wearne were both accidentally killed in the UK on 31 August 1943. All burials took place in the Cambridge City Cemetery in Cambridgeshire, UK.
