Studio portrait souvenir in a frame of SX10471 Private Colin Louis Paynter, 2/10 Australian Infantry Battalion printed with a greeting: A Happy Christmas and A Victorious New Year. Colin Louis Paynter of Quorn, SA, was killed in action on 29 December 1942 in Papua. His twin brother SX6633 John Ralph Paynter, 2/12 Australian Infantry Battalion, of Quorn, SA. died of wounds in Libya on 4 May 1941 and had also had the same souvenir created and sent to his family.
