Aegean Sea. C. 1944-04. RAF Beaufighter aircraft attack an enemy destroyer escorting a German merchant ship carrying supplies for the German garrison in Crete. The merchant vessel was part of a convoy which was attacked by a combined force of American Mitchells and RAF Beaufighters.
