France. 1944-04-10. On the night of 1944-04-10/11 Lancaster aircraft of RAF Bomber Command attacked a Field Airpark and Signals Equipment Depot at St Cyr, near Versailles, doing considerable damage to many of the buildings. A photograph taken before the bombing shows a group of buildings used as a signals Equipment depot, believed to contain large stores of signals and radar equipment for the use of the Luftwaffe.
