Description
Italy. C. 1944-04. RAF Wellington bomber aircraft and United States Army Air Force (USAAF) Flying Fortress aircraft operating from the same airfields in Italy are bombing the same targets. The Wellington aircraft bomb them at night and the American aircraft during the day. Members of the USAAF Fortress crew just back from an operation wish "all the best" to the Wellington captain and members of his crew before they start on their mission. There are two Australians in the Wellington crew. At back, third right is Flight Lieutenant V. T. Skehill, pilot, of Kooyong, Vic; fourth right Flying Officer P. R. Jameson, navigator, of Brisbane, Qld.
