Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX9534 Lieutenant John Desmond "Johnny" "Des" Peck DCM, 2/7 Australian Infantry Battalion, Second Australian Imperial Force, Australia, Palestine, Greece, Crete, Italy, Switzerland and England, 1939-c. 2000.

Wallet 2 of 2 – Contains a report by Peck on the activity of the Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale Alta Italia [CLNAI] on behalf of Allied prisoners of war. The report was written by Peck at the request of the Northern Area Allied Screening Commission in response to a claim made by an Italian widow.
This collection also includes photocopies of handwritten translations of extracts from “A Fronte Alta” by Antonio de Bortoli, 1975.
