2/974 Lieutenant (Lt) Harold Leslie Slater, Provost Corps, following Brigadier R. H. Batten, In-Charge of Administration, British Commonwealth Forces, Korea (BCFK), as he inspects British Commonwealth Provost Unit on parade. Promoted to Major, Slater served in Vietnam where he was wounded in action. Repatriated to Australia, he died of wounds on 17 March 1971.
