Liverpool, Lancashire, England. 1944-08-20. Two hundred RAAF airmen march past the steps of Liverpools newly built cathedral after a special Dominions Service. Air Vice Marshal Sir Leonard Slatter KBE CB DSC DFC, RAF Air Officer Commanding Western Approaches took the salute. Two hundred Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and one hundred Royal New Zealand Air Force personnel also attended marching through the city's main streets behind the RCAF Central Band.
