Kure, Japan. 1952-11-01. Padre Laing conducting the marriage ceremony assisted by Reverend Yonimura (Kure Church of England Minister) of 1/942 Warrant Officer V. K. Banchroft, Administration, Headquarters British Commonwealth Forces, Korea (BCFK), and his (unidentified) Japanese bride. The best man was 2/2704 Staff Sergeant J. E. Stark (USAS) (partly obscured), and Brigadier R. H. Batten (background) gave the bride away.
