Portrait of 400232 Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) David William McCormack, RAAF, DFC and Bar, of No. 615 Squadron RAF. Sqn Ldr McCormack, from Seddon, Vic, was Commanding Officer of 615 Squadron, known as 'Churchill's Own'. He was killed in an aircraft accident in India on 10 August 1944, and is buried in the Calcutta Bhowanipore Military Cemetery, Kolkata, India.
