Vietnam. c. 1969. Three 5KVA field generators outside a building at a base camp (location unknown), linked by hoses to 44 gallon drums. The generators were initially designed to run for four hours continuously off fuel cans but the drum connection was later introduced to ensure longer running time. This new system resulted in major repair problems with the generators.
