Collection relating to Second World War service of Albert Denman, Department of Aircraft Production, Australia, 1944-1946.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of Denman's work diary. The diary contains a chronological list of the work that Denman completed on Beaufort bombers whilst working at the Department of Aircraft Production. Included in the diary is a message from Denman's child, which explains that their father passed away in July 1946 at the age of 38.
History / Summary
He joined the Department in 1940 after being declared medically unfit to fight and worked there until 1946 when he began working for Shell Oil Company.
