Collection relating to the 2/2 Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 1993-1994.

Wallet 1 of 1 - Wallet consists of the manuscript titled "2/2 Australian C.C.S. A Brief history and personal anecdotes 1940-1945". The manuscript is an anthology of the 2/2 Australian Casualty Clearing Station. It was compiled and edited by John Carne, a former member of the unit, with assistance from various contributors including Charles Coffey and Alice Mooney. The manuscript includes a brief history of the unit, talks about the role of the unit in jungle warfare, along with concert programmes, a Sisters report, photocopied photographs and newspaper clippings, maps, personal stories, poems, and lists of unit members for 1940-1945.
