Villeneuve-St Georges, France. C. 1944-10. RAF Bomber Command attacks on Villeneuve-St Georges, a railway marshalling area south of Paris, destroyed a large quantity of enemy motor transport tracked vehicles and mobile guns on their way to the fighting areas. German motor transport which was to be conveyed by rail - probably to save petrol - was burnt out.
