Description

Original handwritten account (last page is missing) and later typed transcript of the successful bombing raid on Truk by Catalina A24-14, 20 Squadron on 15 January 1942. Also describes events leading up to the raid, including the crash of the Catalina piloted by Sqn Ldr Davies (11 Squadron) and the rescue attempt by the crew members of A24-14.
